This event is open to ALL CSU faculty, staff, and students!
Inspired by Adobe MAX and designed for the entire CSU community, CSU MAX is a curated, full-day creative experience bringing Adobe leaders, faculty innovators, and emerging talent together right here on our campus.
This isn’t just another speaker series. It’s a hands-on, forward-looking day focused on real-world creative workflows — design, graphics, editing, motion, sound, collaboration — and the latest AI-assisted tools reshaping how content is made.
What You’ll Experience
The morning kicks off with:
- Workflow demos in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, and more!
- Workflow demos in Turning Design into Motion and Ethical Generative AI in Content Production, and more
- A dynamic Ethics of AI panel moderated by CTVA’s Sharon Greene
- A Frame.io workflow session on documentary collaboration with CTVA Professor Judy Korin
- A Lightroom with combat photographer and CSUSM Professor Nancy diBenedetto
- Student content challenges
- Free Adobe testing toward professional certifications
- Direct engagement with Adobe leaders and product experts
Afternoon Creative Park
Then we take it outside to CSUN's Manzanita Lawn for an interactive Creative Park featuring:
- Student work exhibits
- A mini creative job fair
- Résumé and portfolio reviews
- Industry-forward conversations and hands-on activations, including pedagogical insights of how to incorporate AI into course planning for faculty~
