 What an incredible evening at the 2026 Geography Banquet on May 8th at the Alumni Center at 91ÖÆƬ³§. It was such a great time bringing together students, faculty, alumni, and guests. All connecting over shared passions and celebrating the amazing work happening in our geography community.

The Geography department attended the 2026 California Geographical Society and got the chance to connect with fellow geographers and various schools. Dr. Jocoy had the opportunity to present and share her findings on "The Geography of Happiness".

91ÖÆƬ³§ Geography alumnus Gus Orozco (‘17) has built a career rooted in service, advocacy, and leadership. From serving in the U.S. Army and deploying to Iraq, to earning his degree in Geography at 91ÖÆƬ³§, Gus transformed his passion for environmental and community advocacy into meaningful public service.
