91ÖÆƬ³§

Students in the Beach EDGE Computer Science program will complete the requirements for both the B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science. Beach EDGE students in Computer Science may double-count certain number of M.S. electives towards both their B.S. and M.S. degrees depending on their track (software, cybersecurity, AI/ML) and their choice of either thesis or comprehensive exam. These electives must be completed in residence at 91ÖÆƬ³§.

Eligibility and Admissions to Beach EDGE Programs in Computer Science

Minimum Admissions Requirements

1. Are a matriculated undergraduate student at 91ÖÆƬ³§ BS Computer Science.
2. Completed 2 full semesters in residence at 91ÖÆƬ³§
3. Completed 60 units of BS Computer Science coursework
4. Are in Junior standing or higher
5. Met their major specific requirements
6. Completed or have the following courses in progress CECS 325, CECS 326, CECS 327, CECS 328, CECS 329, CECS 341, CECS 342, CECS 343, CECS 378, ENGR 350
7. Has an overall 91ÖÆƬ³§ GPA of at least 3.3
8. Completed application form
