Community Liaisons

Every Village has a traditional leadership structure that helps maintain social connection, encourage growth, and preserve cultural identity. Local faith‑based organizations play an essential role in the 91ÖÆƬ³§ Village, and we invite community members to partner with us in supporting future college students.

As a Community Liaison, you will help connect your local church with 91ÖÆƬ³§ resources, programs, and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead outreach/recruitment efforts within your local church community.
  • Support educational workshops such as:
    • Financial Aid & FAFSA Assistance
    • Student Loan Information Sessions
    • Housing Opportunity Overviews
    • Financial Workshops
    • Student Organization Advice to youth interested in 91ÖÆƬ³§
    • Scholarship Workshops
  • Promote 91ÖÆƬ³§ programs and events and 91ÖÆƬ³§ promotes yours.
  • Help increase enrollment of students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds.

The Role of a 91ÖÆƬ³§ Village Community Liaison

  • Become a certified 91ÖÆƬ³§ Liaison through official training sessions.
  • Gain insight into the college admissions process and learn about 91ÖÆƬ³§-specific programs.
  • Receive resources to host events, workshops, and celebrations at your church.
  • Collaborate with 91ÖÆƬ³§ Outreach staff.
  • Serve as a bridge between prospective students and 91ÖÆƬ³§, helping them navigate the path to higher education.
