Thanks to generous donor support, the Clorinda Donato Center for Global Romance Languages and Translation Studies is able to award partial-tuition, merit-based scholarships to select students enrolled in the MA in Translation and Interpreting.

All applicants are automatically considered for scholarships, and no separate application is required. Recipients are chosen based on the overall strength of their Cal State Apply application materials. Factors considered include, but are not limited to, prior academic performance, the quality of the statement of purpose and letters of recommendation, and relevant professional experience.

Scholarships will cover a portion of tuition and amounts vary from year to year. Recipients will be notified of their award amount and disbursement schedule, including how many payments they will receive and when.
